Entertaining and Enjoyable, for Deep Purple fans new and old.

Being the world's biggest Deep Purple fan as I am, I thought I knew everything about them. How wrong I was proven when I read this book; A Matter of Fact, by Jerry Bloom, a newly published Deep Purple book about facts & fun trivia of the group spanning their entire career.
What an entertaining read with loads of great never before seen information & pictures, also includes a nice list near the end of some of Deep Purple's rarest albums and LPs.
This book is a MUST HAVE for any Deep Purple fan or collector, and it even separates the fact from fiction.
It's not all Just about MK 2 & Ritchie Blackmore. Jerry Bloom is open to writing about all of the different line ups of the band & even features a hefty couple of chapters on Deep Purple MK 5 with Joe Lynn Turner to the current line up, MK 8 with Steve Morse & Don Airey who still tour today and the book has information from up to the most modern point in time the present. It even puts you in the place of the band's unfortunate turmoil and problems with Blackmore from the 80's and 90s with other stories from people like the band's manager, Colin Heart who also witnessed some of the tragic events unfold first hand causing the original line up to split in '93. It feels like you are there really.
It is a highly educational and entertaining book which I really enjoyed throughout. It will even surprise the biggest hardcore Deep Purple fans ! Guaranteed !
